While not intended for water disinfection, it provides efficient water filtration for biologically safe water or when used in conjunction with a UV sterilizer. Returns

Items must be returned within 30 days after receiving your order. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, be unworn/unused, have any tags still attached, and include all the original packaging.

Please be aware that the seller will not cover the cost of the return label. It is the customer's responsibility to generate the return shipping label and send the system back to our warehouse.

Efficient 3-Stage Water Softener for Whole House/Cottage Water Filtration - 3/4-inch Inlet/Outlet

Our 10” Standard Whole House system provides a cost-effective solution for smaller spaces such as RVs, apartments, cottages, and other light-duty applications where space is a premium. It's important to note that this system is not designed to disinfect water and should only be used in areas where the water supply is biologically safe or in conjunction with a UV sterilizer or alternative disinfection techniques.

If you have a larger home/cottage or if more than two people consistently use the water, it's advisable to explore our higher-capacity systems for better performance.

Note: Our Cation Resin Filters work best in areas with mildly hard water. For regions with moderate to severe hard water, the filters may deplete more frequently. While resin filters can be regenerated, in cases of very hard water, a dedicated water softener may prove more cost-effective in the long run.

System working but causing low outgoing water pressure

We purchased the 3-Stage Water Softener for Whole House/Cottage Water Filtration system, which was installed by a plumber, primarily to soften our slightly hard well water. The second stage Cation Resin Filter seems to be the job for that, but it has only been a couple of weeks now. The problem we are experiencing is that the three-filter whole house system has significantly reduced our low end water pressure psi coming out of the filters from the normal 40 psi to 20 psi. Tried increasing the well tank pressure up a bit to 45/65 psi, but it does not seems to help. We'll test this system out for six months or so, consult with our plumber, and make a decision on whether or not we try some other adjustments, or another type of system altogether. Would be good if MaxWater provided some helpful FAQs about this type of thing.
